A special Christmas party in Berlin
On December 5, the time had finally come: this year’s Christmas party took place in the vibrant capital city of Berlin. But this year was something very special—not only because we met in one of the most exciting cities in Europe, but above all because the iits Group team → was there for the first time. It was an unforgettable evening full of joy, fellowship, and new encounters.
A city that inspires
Berlin provided the perfect setting for this special event. The pre-Christmas atmosphere was palpable from the moment we arrived: the streets were festively lit, Christmas markets invited visitors to linger with the scent of mulled wine and roasted almonds, and the winter chill made getting together all the more cozy.
The program in detail
The event kicked off at the stylish Hotel 25hours Bikini on Kurfürstendamm, directly opposite the impressive Gedächtniskirche. The venue was perfectly chosen and set the ideal stage for an extraordinary evening. The warm-up began with a relaxed Secret Santa among the 8reasons colleagues, with lots of laughter, riddles, and jokes.
At 7:00 p.m., the legendary Monkey Bar opened its doors exclusively for us. A view of the Berlin skyline, a drink in hand, and the best company—the evening couldn’t have started any better. At 7:30 p.m. sharp, Christoph Aufmhoff and Victor Getz (managing directors of iits) and Alexander Varro (managing director of 8reasons) took the microphone. With inspiring words and a healthy dose of team spirit, they got us in the mood for the celebration.
The buffet? Simply outstanding! From regional delicacies to international delicacies, there was something for everyone. And when the DJ turned up the volume, there was no stopping us: the dance floor was full and the atmosphere was exuberant. Some of us kept the energy going until 4 a.m. and crowned the night with a classic Berlin kebab – a tradition that is simply part of the experience.
The next morning began just as warmly as the evening ended: during breakfast with the 8reasons team, stories were exchanged once again and the evening was reviewed. A highlight was the professional photo session, where we took both group photos and portraits for the website. A memory that will last!
An impressive number of participants
Together with the iits Group, there were just under 110 of us in total. We traveled there and back comfortably with Deutsche Bahn, which meant we arrived relaxed and stress-free.
The start of a new tradition?
This first joint meeting with iits showed us how valuable and inspiring direct exchange can be. Not only were professional topics discussed, but many personal stories were also shared. At the end of the evening, we all agreed: this celebration was not only a highlight of the year, but perhaps also the start of a new tradition.
